The material does not appear to be of low quality; on the contrary, the plastic on the comb is thick, and the one on the accessories is a bit more flexible but just right.

It came in fast. The quality isnt all what i expected the parting comb has very stiff plastic bristles. When i used the comb gently in my hair it hurt a bit. Its like almost the same kind of bristles you find on a snow brush. I bought this to style my daughter's hair so if it hurts me it will hurt her. Sad i cant use it.
