It is more of a burgundy red than a bright red as i was hoping for. however, great workmanship, good quality. i specifically wanted the wider handle and i’m glad that i went with this choice. i am ready to order a smaller size for a carry-on and potentially may order the 26 inch. i am not sure at this time about the 26 inch because the 24 is a pretty decent size all in all. i haven’t traveled with it yet, but i hope it holds up and not sure that it is made of aluminum, but it does sound like it’s aluminum and not plastic. delivery took a long time, almost 30 days. there were no tracking updates until about two days prior to it actually been delivered.
